What Are Probiotics?

Probiotics are live bacteria that support the overall balance and functioning of our digestive system. The role of these bacteria in the digestive system includes stimulating digestive processes, reducing the number of potentially harmful bacteria in the gut, enhancing the immune system and aiding the absorption of nutrients.

Probiotics allow you to grow a healthy gut environment which can benefit many body processes – from immunity, skin health, controlling appetite, digestion, mental health, hormone production and determining our risk for disease.


Our unique MultiplyPlus® process is derived from papaya fruit and leaf, which undergoes five stages of bio-fermentation using multi-strain, gut-loving probiotics. Unlike other fermented foods, which undergo a 1-2 stage fermentation, the extended fermentation process of MultiplyPlus® results in a more bio-available (easily absorbed) and bio-active complex with higher concentration of essential nutrients, organic acids and probiotics to support healthy microflora and vibrant health and wellbeing.

The six strains of probiotics used in the MultiplyPlus® process include:

  • Lactobacillus acidophilus
  • Lactobacillus casei
  • Lactobacillus plantarum
  • Lactobacillus bulgaricus
  • Bifidobacterium lactis
  • Saccharomyces cerevisiae (boulardii)

Lactobacillus is one of the world’s most documented probiotic strains, with studies showing an expansive amount of whole-body benefits. We have chosen six probiotic strains to create a triple-action approach for good gut health:
